　　Supervises agency registered nurses and LPN's

　　Assist with supervision of agency health-related staff education and training

　　Assists in developing, when necessary, written policies and procedures in areas of medical and health-related services and medication administration, to ensure quality care, as well as compliance with OPWDD and OMH guidelines

　　Requirements

　　Current NYS License to practice as a Registered Nurse and five years' experience including at least one year of supervisory experience.

　　Knowledge of professional nursing theory, practices, and techniques; principles and practices of effective supervision.

　　Required to supervise, motivate and assist in staff evaluation; to assist in planning and coordinating programs; supervise to monitor effectiveness of agency nurses; to communicate effectively both orally and in writing; and to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.
