Job Type: Officer of AdministrationRegular/Temporary: RegularHours Per Week: 35Salary Range: $133,000 - $175,000The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. The above hiring range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.Position Summary

Under the supervision of the Nursing/Advanced Practice Director, and in conjunction with the respective attending physicians, the NP will be responsible for assessment and management of patients with solid tumor cancers (i.e. breast cancer, GU cancer, GI cancer, thoracic cancer).

Location: 1111 Westchester Ave., White Plains, NYHours: 4, 10-hour shifts/week on-site, Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 6:00 PMInitial Training: 161 Fort Washington Ave., NY, NY 10032Start Date in White Plains: 9/2025Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive patient history and physical examinationsReview laboratory results and imaging studiesOrder diagnostic tests and medications as clinically appropriateProvide patient education and counselingDevelop and implement individualized care plansMonitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as neededObtain informed consent for proceduresAssist with bone marrow biopsies and other proceduresCoordinate referrals and consults with other healthcare providersDocument patient encounters in the electronic health recordCollaborate with the medical team to ensure efficient and effective patient careAssist with clinical research activitiesParticipate in quality improvement initiativesAdhere to all regulatory and compliance standardsPerform related duties responsibilities as assignedMinimum Qualifications

Current New York State (NYS) RN and NP licenses/registrationsMaster's degree in nursingNational Nurse Practitioner CertificationPrescriptive authority in New York StateStrong clinical judgment and decision-making skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamStrong organizational and time management skillsProficiency in electronic health record systemsPreferred Qualifications

Experience in hematology/oncology strongly preferredExperience with NYP/CUIMC systems and procedures preferredExperience with performing bone marrow biopsies helpful, but not essentialOther Requirements
