Under the supervision of the Nursing/Advanced Practice Director, and in conjunction with the respective attending physicians, the NP will be responsible for assessment and management of patients with solid tumor cancers (i.e. breast cancer, GU cancer, GI cancer, thoracic cancer).

Conduct comprehensive patient history and physical examinationsReview laboratory results and imaging studiesOrder diagnostic tests and medications as clinically appropriateProvide patient education and counselingDevelop and implement individualized care plansMonitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as neededObtain informed consent for proceduresAssist with bone marrow biopsies and other proceduresCoordinate referrals and consults with other healthcare providersDocument patient encounters in the electronic health recordCollaborate with the medical team to ensure efficient and effective patient careAssist with clinical research activitiesParticipate in quality improvement initiativesAdhere to all regulatory and compliance standardsPerform related duties responsibilities as assignedMinimum Qualifications
