JOB REQUIREMENTS: Description Nurse Practitioner, PRN status, Float Thishealthcare professional will demonstrate and serve as an expert in therole of practitioner, consultant, educator, and health professional.Prescribes or recommends pharmacologic and non pharmacologic therapiesincluding controlled medications. Improves clinical and cost outcomesfor key patient populations through collaboration with physicians andstaff and by participating in strategic initiatives. Assures competentand ethical care of patients and families. To accomplish this goal theprovider will work both autonomously and in collaboration with themedical staff and supervising physician, maintain a quality,customer-focused, nursing and medically appropriate approach to patientassessment, care plan development and implementation, follow-up tooutcomes, and cost-effective delivery of services. Participates inresearch activities as appropriate. Community involvement andcollaboration is encouraged. Qualifications Nurse PractitionerCertification required. Current Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) numberassigned. OR Current State of Wisconsin Certification, NationalCommission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA). Current BLSrequired, ACLS preferred.
