Adheres to driver safety/compliance regulations, deliversun-damaged goods on schedule, and provides professional service tocustomers. Non-CDL will drive vehicles weighing 10,001-26,000 pounds.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESLoads and appropriately secures product, materials or supplies insidedelivery vehicle.Delivers customer orders to specified delivery site and unloads materialssafely and accurately. Takes all precautions to protect the product and thecustomer's property.Verifies order details and maintains logs of delivery duties including amountsand/or weights of items, mileage and locations of deliveries. Checksitems against invoice to ensure order accuracy.Acts as a customer service liaison between BFS and the site customer. Handlescustomer concerns and helps to resolve issues as they arise.Maintains the cleanliness and appearance of delivery vehicles; performsroutine safety checks to ensure vehicles comply with company guidelines.Required to use hand held devices, except for while driving, to ensurecompliance with DVIR and HOS.Maintain hours of service logs and pre/post trip inspection procedures.May perform credit/product return pick-ups and related paperwork.Operate a Forklift or non-motorized material handling equipment to load andoff load materials to designated areas.Understands and observes all safety procedures and practices in order toprevent injury to self or co-workers; attends periodic safety meetings asrequired; may recommend changes to improve safety procedures.Other duties as assigned.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIESThis job has no supervisory responsibilities.

  MINIMUM REQUIREMENTSTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform eachessential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below arerepresentative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.High School Diploma or GED, 18+ years old, and valid driver's license.Previous delivery experience, preferably with building materials anddelivery equipment is desirable.Valid driver's licensePass MVR reportObtain a DOT medical cardBasic math & measurement skillsAbility to read and speak the English language

  Work is performed within a production environment, subject to temperaturevariations, hazardous chemicals, mechanical parts, increased noiselevels and dust.Must be able to lift and carry up to 100 pounds frequently and on occasion maybe required to lift and carry, with assistance, up to 200 pounds.May be required to perform specific tasks that involve climbing, lifting,pushing or kneeling.Must be ab e to physically operate delivery vehicles (climb up and down intocab, twist torso for 360 degree visibility, use arms to operatecontrols, etc.)As a BFS driver, you're there for our customers, so we're there foryou.   In addition to the base wage listed, team members are also eligible to earnan additional incentive subject to changes in plan design and documents and inaccordance with applicable law. Eligibility and the amount of the incentivevaries based on the terms and conditions of the locations' active incentiveplan for the respective year.
