Who We Are Looking For
We are looking for a Brand Narrative Intern to join us for the summer! Interns in this space will be outstanding teammates, passionate about crafting sharp narratives, ensuring creative integrity, and performing to a high standard. They work under the direction of the narrative lead and work alongside producers and designers to craft outstanding creative work. They will work on a project to deliver creative concepts, manifestos, athlete* storytelling, and messaging across all channels, working collaboratively with Brand Narrative, Sr. Writers, Art Directors, and Designers to help craft our concepts.
What You Will Experience
You will work with the Brand Narrative team, focused on a project over the summer. This project will involve helping to craft long-term and seasonal creative concepts in partnership with Brand Narrative and Art Direction teams. You will deliver outstanding storytelling, with deliverables ranging from campaign strategy, manifestos and social content to campaign content, headlines, and scriptwriting. You will ensure our content meets and exceeds the highest standards: always on-brand, culturally aware, sport-authentic, platform right, distinctive and engaging. You will work strategically to drive brand awareness and deliver strong engagement through creative deliverables. You will keep up to date with emerging trends in sports, design, culture, media, and technology as relevant to Nike and the writing team.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING?
Bachelor of Arts in Writing, Communications, Journalism, related field, with a graduation date of Spring/Summer 2024, Winter 2024, or Spring/Summer 2025.
A portfolio of social & brand writing across platforms, displaying a distinctive voice, experienced command of style and tone, and impeccable eye for detail.
Understanding of creative strategy and writing within a brand organization, and how to translate business priorities into highly engaging consumer-facing content.
Experience across OOH, digital, and social writing, with a solid understanding of content platforms.
Proven ability to flex and adapt to changing business needs while maintaining creative quality.
