responsibilities:
Serve as the first point of contact for employees seeking IT technical assistance and support
Provide IT technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to the computer systems, software and hardware
Install, configure, monitor, troubleshoot, maintain, and upgrade hardware / software related to the user desktops, laptops, mobile devices and other peripherals
Respond to queries, either in person or remotely by email, over the phone or using other remote access tools
Manage requests via IT service desk software that involves tracking, follow-up and closure of incidents
Closely monitor and follow up unresolved issues / requests to the next level of IT support personnel to ensure timely resolution of issues
Maintain inventory of IT infrastructure assets (hardware and software)
Participate in 24/7 on-call support for system availability, troubleshooting and maintenance requirements
Work independently and in a team to manage full scope of responsibilities with minimal supervision
Ensure compliance with Group IT security standards / other requirements
Coordinate IT related matters regarding onboarding and offboarding employees
Identify and suggest possible improvements on related IT procedures
Participate in other IT related projects, local / overseas in coordination with IT Lead
Create and maintain relevant IT documentation / procedures
