  Seeking a skilled Network Technician / IT Support professional to maintain and optimize our network infrastructure. Responsibilities include monitoring network performance, troubleshooting issues, and collaborating with vendors for equipment procurement. Provide prompt and effective IT support to end-users, diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network problems. Install, configure, and upgrade network components, ensuring security compliance and documentation of configurations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams on technology solutions, contribute to projects, and conduct user training. Qualifications include proven experience in network administration, and proficiency in network device management. Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills along with a Bachelor's degree in IT or a related field and 2 years of hands-on experience are required.

  responsibilities:

  Serve as the first point of contact for employees seeking IT technical assistance and support

  Provide IT technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to the computer systems, software and hardware

  Install, configure, monitor, troubleshoot, maintain, and upgrade hardware / software related to the user desktops, laptops, mobile devices and other peripherals

  Respond to queries, either in person or remotely by email, over the phone or using other remote access tools

  Manage requests via IT service desk software that involves tracking, follow-up and closure of incidents

  Closely monitor and follow up unresolved issues / requests to the next level of IT support personnel to ensure timely resolution of issues

  Maintain inventory of IT infrastructure assets (hardware and software)

  Participate in 24/7 on-call support for system availability, troubleshooting and maintenance requirements

  Work independently and in a team to manage full scope of responsibilities with minimal supervision

  Ensure compliance with Group IT security standards / other requirements

  Coordinate IT related matters regarding onboarding and offboarding employees

  Identify and suggest possible improvements on related IT procedures

  Participate in other IT related projects, local / overseas in coordination with IT Lead

  Create and maintain relevant IT documentation / procedures

  qualifications:

  Experience level: Experienced

  Minimum 2 years of experience

  Education: Bachelors (required)

  skills:

  Cisco (2 years of experience is preferred)

  VMWARE (2 years of experience is preferred)
