　　Java/J2EE Full Stack Developer or Front End/UI/UX Web Developer

　　Preferred Qualifications

　　As a member of Engineering Team for OFSAA-Platform & Cloud deployment, you will join the Oracle Financial Services Analytical Applications (OFSAA) team and take ownership and accountability to design, plan, implement and maintain product following "best-practice" approach for OFSAA suite that complies to Oracle Industry Cloud / Oracle Public Cloud and Bare-Metal Cloud standards & tech-stack Description:

　　The Oracle Financial Services Global Business Unit, and specifically the Analytics (OFSAA) line of business, is responsible for the development and marketing of industry specific profitability, risk management, regulatory compliance and budgeting and planning, business intelligence and data foundation built on a common toolset / platform. As a key member of this team, you will build and deliver the next generation of these vital business solutions for the Financial Services industry

　　We have Web Developer positions open for designing, planning, implementing and maintaining frameworks following "best-practice" approach for toolsets / foundation components for the OFSAA Platform & Cloud deployment of OFSAA-SaaS offerings. These are crucial roles to ensure that the products / toolsets that we deliver are high quality products to banks across the globe. Leadership in this area, especially during our transition to the Cloud, is critical to ensure success of the products, the team and the group in general. We are looking for someone who will work in a scrum team of software engineers and be responsible for delivering the component or components under the scrum team(s). You will be responsible for ensuring high quality of components that are part of the toolset and services that are consumed by the OFSAA applications in an agile development environment. You will be working as an innovator; you will work with other Engineering, Quality Assurance and Product management teams to ensure solutions are thoroughly designed, developed and unit tested, ensure integrated with other components, within the OFSAA suite of products.

　　RESPONSIBILITIES:

　　As part of the member of the FSGBU's flagship Analytics Platform, the candidate will be responsible for developing newer capabilities and be part of the Cloud journey that the product suite is embarking on and have a flair to explore and practice continuous integration, continuous delivery and agile methodologies.

　　Excellent understanding of test-driven development, Unit tests, code coverage, security, continuous build, integration and deployment etc

　　REQUIREMENTS

　　Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering or MCA

　　3+ years of Professional software development experience in Java, J2ee, html-JavaScript

　　Good knowledge, understanding and hands-on experience in building Highly Performant, Scalable and High Availability products

　　Comply with good software engineering principles, including but not limited to standard coding, documentation, version control and testing practices.

　　Primary Skills

　　for Java

　　Strong Experience in Java, Java EE, Spring boot applications

　　Expertise in XML, JSON, RESTFul API, reusable Java libraries

　　Expertise with HTML, CSS, and writing cross-browser compatible code

　　Expertise with Oracle PLSQL/ SQL databases is required

　　Design and develop user-friendly, reusable, intuitive, innovative, and a feel of next-generation User Interface

　　Able to apply JEE design patterns & standard design practices

　　Good in Collections, Generics, IO, Threads, and Functional Programming

　　for UI/UX

　　Strong programming skills in HTML, CSS and JavaScript technologies

　　Expertise in JSP, JQuery, React, AJAX, JSON, RequireJS, Knockout, Promise and Object Oriented Programming.

　　Experience with consuming and building RESTfull APIs using JSON data and best practices related to their implementation

　　Design and develop user-friendly, reusable, intuitive, innovative, and a feel of next-generation User Interface

　　Extensive CSS experience with the ability to build / modify complex, cross-browser CSS layouts. Understand W3C standards as well as browser-specific bugs and variations Proactive investigating and debugging of application defects

　　Secondary – Knowledge / Skills / Domain

　　Demonstrated work with cloud, mobile or open source technologies is a significant plus

　　Ability to manage multiple priorities, and assess and adjust quickly to changing prioritize

　　- Special considerations if any

　　Experience in working on products that have transitioned to 'Cloud' from a deployment perspective would be an added advantage.

　　Collaboration and project management tools: JIRA, Confluence

　　Energetic, Attention to details, software quality and ability to work independently.

　　Relevant experience in Service-oriented architecture for cloud-based services

　　Strong written, verbal and presentation skills

　　Ability to work in a geographically distributed organization
