Description

　　Robert Half is searching for TWO Network Engineers for a Seattle-based transportation and logistics company to work out of their SeaTac, Washington office. The primary responsibility of these Network Engineers is to provide configuration, deployment, and troubleshooting support for routers, switches, firewalls, access points, and other networking technologies across 90+ locations. The client is also working on a project to migrate some of their equipment from Juniper to Cisco and Fortinet devices. One position will focus on Cisco Catalyst switches, and the other role will focus on Fortinet FortiGate switches. This is a long-term contract (9 months) with potential to extend based on performance and project need. Additionally, this role would 100% onsite in SeaTac, Washington. Apply today!

　　Responsibilities:

　　Supporting the network of the 90+ locations across the US

　　Assess network and devices within the network that are operating

　　Diagram network topologies

　　Work off of a provided specifications document to implement, configure, and deploy new devices

　　Work on a broad range of systems: voice, telecom, etc. with multiple concurrent projects

　　Decommissioning Juniper equipment and implement Cisco and FortiGate equipment

　　Working on ticket queue for troubleshooting deployments and updates

　　Making configuration changes to networking hardware, old and new

　　Doing administrative work: labeling, documenting, and shipping

　　Provide configuration, deployment, and troubleshooting support for routers, switches, firewalls, access points, and other network

　　Requirements

　　Must have 5+ years of experience as a Network Engineer in a variety of environments

　　Proficient with Cisco Catalyst OR Fortinet FortiManager and FortiGate - configuring and troubleshooting across multiple locations

　　Ability to diagram network topologies and assess a current network and the devices operating within that

　　Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills

　　Must be a team-player and be collaborative with a larger team

　　Must have the ability to prioritize effectively and efficiently

　　Nice to Haves: Experience with BGP and OSPF configuration and troubleshooting, Aruba access points, Airwave management platform, Juniper switches, and project organization and management

　　Preferred Certifications: Fortinet NSE 5, Cisco CCNA, Juniper JNCIS-ENT, and/or Aruba ACMA
