The Radiographic, NDT Level III will be familiar with the codes,standards, and other contractual doc-uments utilized at Element. A Level IIIshall be thoroughly familiar with the scope and limitations for thetechnique/method to which certified and should be capable of directing thework of train-ees and Level 1 & 2 personnel. The Level III Technician willhave an advanced knowledge of product manufacturing and inspection technology.Will consider 5+ year experience in Level II, with ability to move toLevell IISalary: $90K/yr-$120K/yrResponsibilities
Contract review: Ensure client requirements are met on each projectinvolving: Review and approving work orders and making changes accordinglyCreate profiles for new part numbers and update old profilesCreating and approving all RT techniques, ensuring they meet client andproject requirementsDepartment procedure creation, maintenance and reviewAssist Quality Manager with client auditsEnsure equipment is calibrated / certified per required procedures andclient requirementsContact customers with technical questions regarding information missing onpurchase ordersConduct performance reviews for all certified techniciansCertify & re-certify inspectorsReview certifications for corrections and revisionsProvides excellent customer servicePerforms other duties as assigned
Skills / Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent work experience within a related fieldMinimum experience level: 5-8 years of similar or related experienceHigh level computer user: Word, Outlook, Excel and Power PointDiverse knowledge of Aerospace NDT specifications. Added benefit with exposureto, Boeing, GE, Honeywell, and PrattFamiliar with testing codes and standardsMust be able to read and write EnglishNOTE: This position requires access to export-controlled commodities,technical data, technology, software, and services.
