　　Engineering Technician IV

　　KBR is seeking a highly motivated self-starter, adaptable to a fast-paced, exciting environment as a Reliability and Maintainability Engineering Technician IV, at NAS Patuxent River, MD.

　　This is an SCA Position 30084

　　Position Description:

　　Applies engineering techniques, principles and precedents to develop, design, modify, install, test, evaluate, or operate electrical, electronic, avionics, mechanical, communications, stores, armament/ordnance, or related data processing systems for military weapon systems or associated support equipment or components.

　　Reviews, analyzes, develops, prepares or applies engineering, technical or maintenance specifications, policies, standards, or procedures.

　　Organizes, analyzes, and prepares reports or presentations of technical data and information.

　　Plans and performs tests and evaluations of systems equipment or components.

　　Compiles, processes, reduces, or analyzes test data results.

　　BASIC REQUIREMENTS

　　Citizenship: Must be a US Citizen

　　Security Clearance: active/current Top Secret OR able to obtain and maintain Top Secret clearance.

　　Experience (No allowable substitution):

　　At least 3 years of experience in performing engineering technician functions in aircraft, weapons systems, or aircraft support equipment with relevant experience in aircraft operating principles, theory, skills, and activities related to his/her area of technical specialty is applicable.

　　Military experience in aviation maintenance is desirable.

　　Experience with aircraft and flight data collection and analysis

　　Experience with Reliability & Maintainability maintenance actions and management systems

　　Experience preparing reports or presentations of technical data and information to be used in evaluations of aircraft performance

　　Education:

　　High School diploma or GED

　　AND

　　Completion of a technical school, trade school, or advanced armed services technical school curriculum or course of training in electricity, electronics, avionics, mechanics, armaments, ordnance, or engineering technology; or completion of at least 30 semester hours of course studies at an accredited college or university in an engineering, scientific, or technical curriculum.
