　　Pay Range: Starting at $18.00 an hour

　　Job Duties & Responsibilities:

　　Railcar RepairWorks safely around heavy equipment, railcars and railroad tracksCoordinates and competes all railcar repairs and maintenanceInterprets job work orders and follows blueprints / schematics to perform required repairsUtilizes basic mechanical skills and builds knowledge of machines and tools to weld, cut and gouge

　　Valve RepairInterprets work orders to perform valve removal and repairTags products for identification and reapplication

　　Overall Responsibilities:Notifies of any materials and/or equipment required to ensure completion of job tasksFollows all safety rules, keeps work area clean and complies with all ARS Environmental Health and Safety PoliciesEnsures FRA, AAR and/or ARS and customer quality assurance standards are metCompletes any other duties as assigned in order to complete the task

　　Job Qualifications:Experience is a plus but not required, and paid on-the-job training is availableMay require a valid Driver's License and / or a valid TWIC card, depending on work location18 years or older and legally able to work in the U.S.Pass a drug screen, physical, and background checkPrevious military experience and proven ability to follow procedures is a plus.
