job summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Scientist to join our team and drive advancements in our geospatial analytics and AI/ML capabilities. In this role, you will work closely with Ola, our talented geologist and computer scientist, to understand and enhance the ML model he has developed for selecting drilling locations. The objective is to improve the success rate of our drilling operations to exceed 20%. As Ola is currently a single point of failure, you will play a crucial role in augmenting his work, refining processes, and ensuring continuity.

responsibilities:

Collaborate with Ola to understand and enhance the existing ML model for selecting drilling locations, with the goal of improving the success rate of drilling operations.

Identify opportunities to automate and streamline data processes, including data flow, extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL).

Work closely with customers to gather requirements and provide recommendations for improving data analytics platforms and SaaS solutions.

Develop and implement geospatial analytics solutions to support mining and geospatial analysis initiatives.

Stay updated on advancements in AI/ML technologies and geospatial analytics techniques, and them to enhance our capabilities.
