  Job Summary and Qualifications

  We are seeking a Manager (RN) in Patient Safety for our facility to ensure that we continue to provide all patients with high quality, efficient care.   What you will do in this role:

  You will perform, coordinate and supervise daily operations of the Patient Safety Program(s) and be accountable for supporting the Facility Vice President of Quality in providing an integrated framework for monitoring and evaluating quality of care.You will develop and implement action plans that address quality issues.You will promote a culture that is positive, that values individual strengths, takes risks, and is committed to optimal patient care, and compliance with regulatory standards.You will perform regular analysis of facility quality and risk performance data, and plan steps based on data analysis for ongoing improvement.You will facilitate the growth of hospital knowledge regarding quality and high reliability, including the dissemination and implementation of “best practices” across the facility.What qualification you will need:

  Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing is required.Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing required.Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Texas or Multi-State Compact License (Employees with RN Compact License are required to obtain Texas RN License within 90 days of hire date)3 years of progressive experience in healthcare required,3 years of experience with quality management and/or previous management experience preferred.Strong critical thinking skills and experience with Excel software required.Experience with analyzing patient data preferred.HCA Houston Healthcare Northwest (https://careers.hcahealthcare.com/pages/hca-houston-healthcare-northwest) is a 415+ bed acute care hospital that has been serving the north Houston communities for more than 40 years, providing a wide range of medical services including cardiology, maternity care, Level III NICU , pediatrics, bariatrics and neurology.
