As part of our team, the millwright will support Franklin Industries by assembling, installing, maintaining, and disassembling vital machinery as well as performing comprehensive diagnostics on all machinery to ensure maximum and safe functionality. The millwright must log the use, state of repair, and replacement of all equipment.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Assemble and install critical manufacturing machinery, ensuring accurate assemblage to minimize wear and strain on componentsPerform preventive maintenance and accurately log all maintenanceDisassemble machinery and transport it to the appropriate storage locationPerform diagnostic tests on functioning machinery to ensure safe and efficient functionalityQUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or GEDTrade school diploma or vocational certificate preferredStrong mechanical aptitude and experience in a heavy manufacturing environmentAbility to read and interpret blueprints and schematicsStrong math, communication, problem-solving, and time management skillsGood understanding of hydraulics and pneumaticsWORKING CONDITIONS:
