The Boeing Company is currently seeking a Mid-Level Contract Management Specialist to join their organization and support the contracts team in Richardson, TX or Hazelwood, MO .
As a member of this team and as a partner to the program, you will conduct Request for Proposal (RFP) analysis, proposal kickoffs, risk identification/mitigation, proposal management and development, negotiations and contract/modification awards, and contract post award administration efforts for moderately-complex to complex contracts and agreements.
In this role, you will represent the company to our customers with the responsibility to develop and/or maintain effective working relationships with customer counterparts. You will be authorized to exercise commitment/signature authority in accordance with the delegation to negotiate and contract for a variety of product and service offerings.
Position Responsibilities:
Lead the development and submittal of proposals (including fact-finding), contract negotiations/settlements, assessment of terms and conditions (including Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and international government regulations), and evaluation of relevant business risks associated with contract execution
Provide contracting expertise to develop and execute creative business solutions
Resolve complex contract and customer issues during all phases of the contract, embracing ingenuity and an innovative mindset
Represent Boeing to external customers, including United States Government and international customers
Exercise commitment/signature authority, as appropriate, to negotiate and contract for research, development, production, and sustainment efforts
Provide direction in accordance with Boeing policies and procedures
Work with multi-disciplined team and collaborate with a positive attitude
Exhibit strong communication and presentation skills
Perform work independently or with a team, develops solutions to variety of complex problems
Perform contract administration activities
Exhibit strong time management skills and ability to work multiple projects at once
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options .
This position requires an active U.S. Top Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.)
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
3+ years of experience building, developing and maintaining customer relationships
3+ years of experience working with acquisition policies, e.g., United States Government FAR/Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations Supplement (DFARS) regulations
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Bachelor’s Degree or higher
5+ years of experience working with Microsoft Office Suite
Experience working in a classified environment
Experience using strong critical thinking, problem solving, negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills
Typical Education & Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.).

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range: $78,200 - $112,700
