This role is open to both;
Algerian nationals, who would be hired as Staff by the Algerian Oxy entity (DZD Payroll) to rotate to Groupement Berkine from their home in Algeria, andNon-Algerian nationals, who would be hired as Staff by a US Oxy entity (USD Payroll) to rotate to Groupement Berkine from their home country.Job Description/Major Duties:
1. Training Program Leadership: Lead the team who design, implement and evaluate training programs, tailored for both new and existing employees' professional development.
2. Career Development Oversight: Manage and facilitate employee career development, coordinating with organizational leadership to create and implement personalized development plans that align with organizational growth objectives.
Competency Development and Assessment: Lead the design, implementation, and assessment of competency frameworks.
4. Training Development: Develop or source training to support the development of defined competency outcomes and organizational needs.
5. Performance Metrics and Analytics: Develop and maintain systems to track training performance and outcomes, attendance and engagement - regularly reporting on key performance indicators.
6. Training Records Management: Maintain and organized training records system, both digital and physical, to support efficient information retrieval and compliance auditing.
7. Training Budget Management: Develop and manage the training budget, ensuring strategic allocation of funds and cost-efficiency.
8. Training Content and Methodology Enhancement: Continuously improve training content and delivery methodologies to remain relevant and engaging.
9. Vendor and Partner Management: Oversee relationships with external training providers, negotiate and manage contracts, ensuring high standards of training delivery.
10. Skills Gap Identification and Resolution: Conduct ongoing analysis to identify critical skill gaps, developing targeted training programs in response.
Innovative Learning Solutions Implementation: Introduce and apply innovative training technologies and methodologies to enhance learning effectiveness.
Training Advisory Expertise: Provide expert guidance to training staff on improving assessment techniques and effectiveness.
Cultural Adaptation of Training Programs: Customize training initiatives to accommodate diverse cultural backgrounds, enhancing inclusivity and accessibility.
Internship Program Strategy: Develop and manage internship programs to align with the companys talent acquisition strategies.
Training Facilitation: Actively facilitate select training sessions to demonstrate techniques and ensure effective content delivery.
16. Collaborative Problem Solving: Work closely with management to address training-related challenges, fostering program refinement and improvement.
Qualifications
Requirements:
Educational Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
Professional Experience:
At least five years of experience in training and development with a strong emphasis on competency development, assurance, and the management of comprehensive training programs.
Demonstrated commitment to Health, Safety Environmental practices.
Technical Skills and Knowledge:
Deep knowledge of learning and development best practices and adult learning principles.
Experience supporting technical / safety training, or working within these fields is highly desirable.
Leadership and Communication Skills:
Proven leadership abilities with strong organizational and strategic planning skills.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Language Skills:
Proficiency in French and/or Arabic is an advantage.
Analytical and Collaboration Skills:
Ability to perform skills gap analyses, develop performance metrics, and implement training solutions effectively.
Strong problem-solving skills with a capacity for engaging with various organizational levels to promote training initiatives.
