　　We’re looking for a motivated Product Analyst responsible for gathering and analyzing information pertaining to our product offering and vendor base. This role will assist the product management team with product line development and maintenance, in accordance with the organization's strategic objectives.

　　Responsibilities:

　　Assists product management team in the development, implementation and management of product programs.

　　Conducts primary and secondary market research. Draws conclusions to understand the needs of customers.

　　Monitors and tracks competitor tactics and strategies.

　　Interacts with vendors to optimize all aspects of the supplier relationship.

　　Provides reporting, analysis and recommendations on sales, margin and inventory performance of product categories, subcategories and items.

　　Conducts analysis and recommends pricing strategies for new and existing products.

　　Recommends products/programs for marketing campaigns.

　　Is learning to actively manage a small product category or subset of a major category through the support and direction of the Product Manager.

　　Other duties as assigned.

　　Qualifications & Requirements:

　　Related Bachelor's Degree preferred (e.g. Business Administration), experience in Product Marketing or Sourcing a plus.

　　Has knowledge of commonly-used business concepts, practices and procedures within industrial distribution.

　　Excellent communication skills.

　　Ability to work cross-functionally with other departments.

　　Ability to manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision.

　　PC literacy – Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, SAP, Heiler HPM, Ad-Hoc report writing.

　　Attention to detail and organizational aptitude required.
