Nexeo HR is seeking Metal Finishers (Grinders) for an awesome company in the North Salt Lake City,UT area. The Metal Finisher (Grinder) prepares our parts for painting using hand and power tools to prep the parts. This includes the use of sanders and grinders for most of your day continuously along with being able to stand and maneuver around to grind welds as needed.

　　Responsibilities

　　   Grind,sand,polish,and finish pieces that have already been welded together.

　　   Operate Pneumatic and Mechanical equipment in a safe manner.

　　   Operate a handheld grinder to smooth out rough surfaces or polish metal to a nice finish.

　　   Read basic blueprints for production completion.

　　   Perform quality work checks to ensure the product meets quality standards.

　　   Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures.

　　Qualifications

　　   Possess grinding skills and working knowledge of grinding tools,equipment,and materials.

　　   Must be able to read measuring devices as required.

　　   General knowledge of blueprints.

　　   Ability to use and read dimensional tools like calipers,gauges,and micrometers.

　　   Ability to read,interpret,and follow written instructions.

　　   Displays punctuality and consistent attendance.

　　Pay

　　$17.00 - $19.00 Per Hour

　　Schedule

　　Swing Shift | 33:30pm 2:00am | Monday Thursday
