　　Job Description:

　　Candidate must have a NY State Medical Technologist license or Medical Laboratory Science degree.

　　Hematology Testing

　　Perform routine CBC, Platelet Concentrate Quality control, Nageotte Procedure for counting WBC

　　pH testing of Platelets, and processing and examination of peripheral blood smears

　　Microbiology Testing

　　SDP Bacterial Impurities Alert

　　Paid Vacation, Holiday, & Sick time

　　Shift's available:

　　12pm - 8pm, Tuesday - Saturday

　　6am - 2pm, Tuesday - Saturday

　　2pm - 12pm, Sunday - Wednesday (4x 10 hour days)

　　Qualifications:

　　Bachelors/Masters Degree in Medical Laboratory Science

　　NYS Medical Technologist license

　　ASCP Certification

　　2-4 years experience in Hematology, microbiology and Blood Bank preferred

　　Knowledge and understanding of immunohematology, hematology and medical terminology
