　　POSITION TITLE: Refiner Assistant

　　REPORTING TO: Production Supervisor

　　LOCATION: Pennsauken, NJ

　　About the role:

　　The Refiner Assistant works with the Chocolate Operators to run the plant refiners.

　　Key responsibilities include:

　　Responsible for the care, operation and safety of the equipment in the Chocolate Manufacturing Dept.

　　Receive production orders from Production Supervisor, Production Manager, QA and R&D

　　Responsible for any duties to assist on the floor the chocolate operator in charge of the refiners

　　Assist DIDS operations as needed

　　Must be able to perform tasks of the pre-refiners , refiner and Dry Ingredient Dump Station operator positions ( including paperwork and HACCP checks)

　　Must be able to perform sampling, testing and measuring of the refiner’s flakes and makes adjustment for products to meet specifications

　　Make production checks to control quality and adjust the formulation accordingly

　　Has responsibility for the sanitary cleaning of the food contacts areas, such as (and not limited too) refiners, belts conveyors

　　Responsible for sanitation of work area

　　Other responsibilities may be assigned as required by Management

　　Must comply with all OSHA standards

　　Must follow all Good Manufacturing Practices, HACCP requirements, and BRC standards for the area and function involved

　　Committed to providing a safe food product

　　Works within all regulatory requirements

　　Ability to adhere to GMP practices and all other food safety requirements

　　Perform all other related duties as required

　　About you:

　　High School Education or equivalent

　　Must be a results oriented individual, who thrives on situations involving pressure

　　Must demonstrate knowledge of the equipment and its operation within 30 days of actively training on the job

　　Must obtain forklift certification as soon as possible after receiving position

　　Must be able to lift 50 lbs
