TITLE: Healthcare Records Quality Analyst
CONTENT DESCRIPTION: Exceptional People to provide Compassionate Care as a Healthcare Records Quality Analyst at the Sewickley campus. Our staff are responsible for providing excellent care to individuals with disabilities. The Healthcare Records Quality Analyst is responsible for managing residents' records and history and maintaining an organized, accurate and complete system of resident records. Under the supervision of the Records Manager, the Records Quality Analyst will interact with all departments as needed to manage the availability, filing, security, release, and retrieval of resident information. It includes assisting in conducting periodic chart audits to ensure compliance with county, state, and federal regulatory bodies. This is a salaried and exempt position. The following is a list, although not all-inclusive list, of duties the incumbent is responsible for: * Maintaining current and up to date information on census and demographics of Verland residents. * Managing resident charts and gathering information and documents to ensure the medical records to be organized, accurate, complete, and easily accessible on-demand. * Actively participate in conceptualizing, organizing, and managing data collection spreadsheets. * Must have working knowledge of Excel Formulas to automate and error proof the data collection. * Responsible for generating reports from Electronic Health Record and other electronic medium to support data collection and trending. * Ability to extract qualitative data from the Electronic Health Record into reportable form on regular basis. * Responsible for maintaining current knowledge of Federal, State and County ICF Regulations. * Ability to use regulatory information to identify and coordinate changes as necessary to assure compliance. * Responsible for providing information for the facility surveys in a timely and accurate manner. * Assist in Licensure and Certification activities as directed. * Responsible for data collection, data entry, maintaining data trends, and coordinating quality and compliance activities support Verland sites. * Actively participate in conceptualizing, organizing, and managing data collection spreadsheets. RHIA Certificate preferred but not required
