Description

　　Robert Half currently has a first-rate opportunity for a qualified and motivated Human Resources Assistant. The Human Resources Assistant will be responsible for a wide variety of tasks, including owning a number of different personnel related administrative tasks and providing clerical support to the HR department and employees regarding human resources related activities, policies, processes, and procedures. This opening is based in the Lombard, Illinois area and is a long-term contract / temporary to hire opportunity.

　　This person will:

　　Own the recruiting process for all hourly roles; culinary (chef’s, food service), CNA’s, Housekeeping and Maintenance

　　Will conduct all onboarding for employees

　　Must be organized

　　Have great communication skills and be able to communicate with all different generations

　　Be required to build culture and community

　　Oversee Payroll, but not do it – their system is Workday

　　Manager I-9’s

　　Scan documents – moving to a 100% electronic documents

　　Work alongside and manage outside HR service company they use (very unmanaged as of now)

　　Have understanding on FMLA and other types of leave

　　Requirements - Eagerness to work independently as well as part of a team with flexibility and willingness to learn and take initiative on variety of tasks and projects

　　Excellent verbal, written, and social skills

　　Proficiency with office applications and software, as well as Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS)

　　Deep understanding of sourcing recruitment

　　Experience with Onboarding

　　Comprehensive knowledge of Human Resources (HR) Administration

　　Foundational knowledge in Assisted Living Community

　　Workday experience preferred

　　Approachable and appropriate demeanor when interacting with all levels of staff in a rapidly changing environment

　　Ability to maintain confidentiality of information and exercise good judgment and discretion in handling and disseminating information
