Immerse yourself in the unique blend of urban amenities and outdoor adventures that Anchorage has to offer.Position Overview: As a Medical Office Clerk at Spectrum Healthcare Resources, you'll be an integral part of our team, providing crucial support in a dynamic medical environment.Responsibilities:Patient Interaction: Receive and screen telephone calls, greet walk-in patients, and address general medical and administrative inquiries.Documentation: Provide advance directives, third party liability documentation, and assist patients in completing necessary forms for inclusion in the medical record.Notification Protocols: Notify Commander or designee of active-duty patient admissions, discharges, or transfers from the Military Treatment Facility (MTF).Statistical Tracking: Maintain accurate records, track, and report statistics as required for operational purposes.Coordination: Collaborate with local civilian and non-military medical facilities to identify active-duty admissions in the local area.Casualty Support: Coordinate with the base Casualty Affairs Officer for notification and support of seriously ill or injured active-duty members.Benefits:Competitive compensationComprehensive health and dental coverageRetirement savings plansProfessional development opportunities within the military healthcare settingVibrant and supportive work environmentMonday - Friday no weekendsNormal business hours are 0730-1630, Monday-Friday.
