The Role
Amphenol Aerospace Operations is seeking aContact Assembly Technicianto work out of its state-of-the-art facility inMesa, AZ.
The key responsibilities of thisContact Assembly Technicianinclude, but are not limited to:
Provides manufacturing floor support including training
Makes and repairs tooling using hand tools, mills, grinders, lathes etc. to very close tolerances
Trouble shoots highly automated equipment and understanding blueprints
Provides updates to PE on manufacturing work instructions
Develops & assists with PM schedules and general machine support
Creates and submits purchasing requisitions for tooling and machines

The Person
The key skills and qualities of aContact Assembly Technicianat Amphenol Aerospace Operations:
Proficient at manual machining
Excellent trouble shooting skills
Experience with automated assembly machines
Blueprint reading, GD&T, hand gaging a must
CAD experience and general PLC knowledge preferred
Technical or two-year degree is a plus or 6-8 years’ experience with machining and or assembly machines
