　　SAIC is seeking a Mechanical Engineer Intern to join our team in Panama City, Florida.

　　Job Description

　　Engineering Intern will, under supervision, provide design and drafting support to complete complex system diagrams, models, and drawings. Candidate will be an integral part of the team creating/updating Technical Data Packages. The candidate will be required to travel to the customer's local facility to work with the engineers and technicians.

　　Responsibilities :

　　Under supervision, candidate will provide drafting support to complete large complex parts, assemblies, and 2D drawings.

　　Under supervision, candidate will review detailed drawings/designs using SOLIDWORKS 3D CAD software and AutoCAD 2D for Technical Data Packages (TDP).

　　Under supervision, candidate will create/modify engineering documents and drawings.

　　Under supervision, will perform a variety of moderately complex tasks and use tools to include calipers, gage tools, tape measures, and other mechanical devices to aid in design, development, verification, and validation of the prototype fabrications.

　　Qualifications

　　Required Education :

　　High School and two (2) or more years of college coursework in a technical field.

　　Qualifications :

　　Familiarity with mechanical drafting, diagraming, modeling software preferred (i.e.: SolidWorks, Autocad, Visio, CAMEO).

　　Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Visio).

　　Clearance:

　　Interim SECRET level Security Clearance required to start. Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET level Security Clearance.Covid Policy: SAIC does not require COVID-19 vaccinations or boosters.
