If you are interested in this role, Apply Today!Job Description:Job Title: EV Charging Test Engineer - Advanced Technician/ Engineer RoleThe successful candidate in this role will:* Have strong knowledge of fundamental electrical components i.e., AC and DC power supplies, cables, circuit breakers, fuses, transformers* Install and Maintain AC & DC EVSE (Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment) Hardware with a focus on safety above all.* Develop validation setup and test plan for hardware and software testing for OCPP & ISO15118 communication protocols, fault injection, customer scenario simulation and end-to-end functional and performance testing* Manage and execute manual/automated simulator test suites for regression test EV charger software and to verify the growing feature sets and customer requirements* Create sandbox environment to demo product performance* Track hardware and software defects/issues in JIRA* Maintain internal testing and validation lab equipment* Collaborate with team on approaches for testing of new product and electrical distribution (AC and DC)* Execute test Automation and integration tasks in the lab* Ability to architect and develop strategies to test the systemOperation Support & Customer Service:* Promoting and conduct good house-keeping practices* Must be highly self-motivated and customer-centricBasic Qualifications:* BS in engineering with min 4+ years of experience or MS in engineering with 3+ years of experience* Hands-on experience installing hardware - wiring, commissioning, bolting* Hands-on experience with EVs, and EV chargers* Hands-on experience with charger cable management and electrical distribution* Hands-on experience in working with power analyzer, oscilloscope, DMM, data logger* Execute and create software verification plan, procedures and test environments.* Certified electrician* Experience in working with power systems, power converters, cooling and controls* Experience in assembling power system (PCBs and controls)* Experience to work with high voltage and current environment* Experience in LabVIEW or any other script language is plus* Experience in HIL (Hardware In the Loop) and SIL (Software In the Loop) environment is plus* fast-paced learner and self-starter* Ability to solve problems by identifying root causes, analyzing possible solutions, and taking appropriate action* Effective communication of results in written reports and presentations* Knowledge of software requirements, architecture and documentation* Knowledge of software maintenance and version control* Excellent verbal and written communication skillsPreferred Qualifications:* Proficient in LabVIEW or other scripting languages* Experience with power electronics (high voltage and low voltage) design and testing* Hands-on experience with energy storage systemsLocation: Bellevue, WAZip Code: 98004Keyword"s: #Bellevuejobs; #MechanicalEngineerjobs;Start Date: Right Away#ZRBelcan is a global supplier of engineering, technical recruiting, and IT services to customers in the aerospace, industrial, and government sectors.
