We have a great opportunity for a finance professional with strong senior management experience.
The Finance Director works in our company for numerous subsidiaries in the Benelux region.
With the direct management of 6 Finance employees and the support of the Shared Services Centers, the direct management of the facility services and purchase the Financial Director plays a key role in ensuring smooth cooperation in our region. This position is a replacement due to retirement.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
• Coordinate the most important departments: Tax, FP&A or Controlling, Administration, Fleet, Shared Service Accounting (both Belgium, Dutch and US GAAP), Reporting (internal and external).
• Preparation of monthly financial documents, budget and presentations for European management.
• Monitoring of controlling with regard to the income statement, working capital and investment planning.
• Strategic alignment of companies, merging and optimization of companies.
• Responsibility for internal and external audits, taxes.
• Compliance with and updating of "US GAAP Accounting Standards" and Sarbanes Oxley (SOX).
• Participation in the continuous improvement of processes with the Shared Service Center Accounting Integration in Cluj, Romania
For This Role, You Will Need:
Education:
• University degree in accounting, finance or economics.
• Proven qualifications in accounting as well as experience in auditing and/or taxes is advantageous.
Experience:
• Relevant experience in a senior financial management position responsible for implementing internal financial controls and business systems.
• Familiarity with tax, financial and corporate law and its practical application.
• Experience in managing, developing and training employees.
• In-depth knowledge of common ERP systems and hands-on experience with a range of Microsoft and other strategic business applications and also good knowledge of working with financial statements: BS, P&L, TWC, business plans and financial reports
• Effective communication and collaboration with managers and colleagues.
• Proactive, ethical and enthusiastic individual who is committed to continuous improvement.
• Fluency in written and spoken English and Dutch.
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret financial trends, prepare reports, business correspondence and procedures
• Familiarity with the US GAAP is advantageous
• Expert level use of Oracle, MS Excel, PowerPoint is advantageous
• Willingness to work flexible hours according to job requirements, particularly during month close
• Proactive and taking ownership, with a willingness to learn
• Strong analytical skills and detail oriented
