Description:

　　• Responsible for engineering and project administration activities related to specific circuit breaker product families.

　　• Perform engineering analyses, including thermal, electromagnetic, dynamic, and structural, using experience applying basic engineering principles.

　　• Ensure compliance with specific ratings, product specifications, and standards requirements.

　　• Participate in cross-functional teams with Manufacturing, Quality, Marketing, and procurement functions.

　　• Perform methodical problem solving to assist in product line production

　　• Support design activities, such as brainstorming, database management and development, design/peer reviews, and general analysis, including tolerance analysis, using experience with basic machine design.

　　• Ensure products meet requirements for Design for Manufacturing (DFM).

　　• Assist in root cause analysis by way of the 5 Why and Ishikawa processes

　　Skills:

　　FMEA, manufacturing process, root cause analysis, Ishikawa, 5 why, continuous improvement

　　Additional Skills & Qualifications:

　　Must have Bachelor's degree in engineering related field (electrical, mechanical, industrial)

　　Must have minimum 5 years in a high production manufacturing environment

　　Must have knowledge of:

　　-Design for Manufacturing (DFM)

　　-Bill of Material (BOM) creation, modification, and documentation

　　-basic engineering principles

　　-basic machine design

　　-CAD/CAM software

　　Travel 10% of the time
