We are looking for a Mechanical Designer who wants to join a team that works within an innovative and growth focused environment! The primary role of the Mechanical Designer is to design heating products and process piping systems to support the engineered-to-order execution side of the business. You will have the opportunity to utilize your design skills in a creative way to find solutions.

　　Responsibilities:

　　Utilize SolidWorks to design and model machine components and process systems

　　Support order processed and new development projects

　　Analyze, develop, and test designed equipment to meet customer requirements

　　Execute customer orders

　　Select components, assembles, and materials based on technical information

　　Interface with the ERP and CRM systems

　　Support the Engineering Change Request and Change Order process

　　Utilize proprietary sizing program software

　　Identify non-conforming materials and root causes to implement solutions

　　Create and release full bills of material for manufacturing

　　Engage with external partners

　　Investigate and research new technology

　　Calculate labor estimates for mechanical design activities

　　Qualifications:

　　Experience with engineering CAD software

　　SolidWorks preferred

　　Associate Degree in Mechanical Design OR Equivalent qualified experience

　　2-5 years of direct mechanical design related experience

　　Food & beverage products or process piping systems preferred

　　Ability to read and interpret piping and instrumentation drawings

　　Experience with process control mechanisms and instrumentation

　　Experience interpreting customer specifications for engineered-to-order projects
