Transit Mechanics needed in Sherman TX!

Transdev is actively seeking B level technicians for their Demand response route services in Sherman, TX. We are looking for qualified and experienced fleet technicians to diagnose and repair vehicles and equipment, with daily safety inspections, and work with state-of-the-art equipment. We offer OEM training.

Responsibilities:
Perform Preventive maintenance.
Perform Road-calls as needed.
After Hours work may be required.
Daily Driver defect repairs.
Other maintenance duties as needed.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years’ experience with medium duty gasoline
Must have a high school diploma, GED or equivalent.
Must have in-depth computer knowledge to be able to scan and diagnose trouble codes.
Must be able to obtain an ASE Master certification within 36 months of employment.
Valid Driver’s License Required.
Must be 21 years of age with a High School diploma, GED or equivalent.
Excellent communication skills with ability to read, interpret safety documents, blueprints, schematics, and other mechanical diagrams.
Occasionally climb or balance, stoop kneel, crouch or crawl.
Occasionally lift-up to 75 pounds.
Must be able to work in extreme heat or cold.
May be exposed to water, fumes and chemicals.
Must be able to work flexible work shifts.
Ability to pass a DOT physical examination, including a background and drug test.
