About Business Development Manager- Fire Protection

As a Business Development Manager - Fire Protection here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for driving the growth and expansion of our Fire Protection business in North America. Your primary objective will be to identify and develop new business opportunities, establish strategic partnerships, and drive sales revenue. You will report directly to our Sales Director and you will work out of our headquarters in CT, NY, NJ, VT, NH, ME, PA or VA locations on a hybrid work schedule. In this role, you will have a significant impact on our business by driving the adoption of our integrated detect and response strategy for fire protection. You will work closely with customers to understand their needs and provide them with tailored solutions that meet their fire safety requirements. By leveraging our cutting-edge technologies, such as the Honeywell Premier Fire Brands, Honeywell Self-Test, and Honeywell Connected Life Safety Services (CLSS), you will ensure that our customers have real-time protection, full compliance, and unmatched scalability.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Identify and develop new business opportunities in the fire protection market

• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers and partners

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute sales strategies

• Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends and opportunities

• Present and demonstrate our fire protection solutions to potential customers

• Negotiate and close sales contracts to achieve revenue targets

YOU MUST HAVE

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development or sales, preferably in the fire protection industry

• Proven track record of driving sales revenue and achieving targets

• Strong knowledge of fire protection systems and technologies [suggest moving to preferred]

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills

• Ability to build and maintain relationships with customers and partners

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field

• Experience in the fire protection industry, specifically with integrated detect and response solutions

• Familiarity with relevant codes and regulations in the fire safety industry

• Strategic mindset and ability to identify market trends and opportunities
