　　Overview

　　Agency MBS Trader is responsible for market making in TBA flow products (30yr and/or GNMA TBA). The role will involve engaging clients and managing risk and inventory. Responsibilities include market making, pricing, generating color/commentary, identify trading opportunities, generating trade ideas for clients and the sales force, managing inventory and offers, facilitating client flow/inquiry as well as contributing to trading systems enhancements. Will consider those with proficient experience in 30yr or GNMA TBA flow trading, including the corresponding flow related specified pools. The trader will need to have experience and comfort in managing a book independently and have very high standards with respect to controls and risk management.

　　What You'll Do

　　Act as market maker for the respective TBA flow product

　　Manage relevant flow related specified pools (majors, multis, low pay-ups)

　　Take ownership and manage risk and inventory for respective books

　　Build franchise, engage clients

　　Support systems enhancements related to trading/risk management

　　Generate color, commentary for sales force and clients/identify trading opportunities

　　How You'll Lead

　　The trader will work very closely with the head of the desk and head of trading in meeting targets/goals for the role including but not limited to PNL generation, market share, client feedback

　　Contribute to building the Deutsche Bank Agency MBS franchise

　　The role will involve the development and training of juniors

　　Skills You'll Need

　　Proven experience in primary flow trading

　　MBS product knowledge, fixed income/macro knowledge/experience

　　Client interaction/relationships

　　Risk management experience

　　Strong risk and control standards

　　Strong communication skills

　　Experience with trading systems, risk models, yieldbook

　　Series 7 and 63 certified

　　It is the Bank's expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the New York City office in accordance with the Bank's hybrid working model.

　　The salary range for this position in New York City is $180K to $250K. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of renumeration.
