The Materials Supervisor is responsible for allinternal material flow from incoming receiving/inspection to line sidepresentation for production including end-of-line pick, pack and ship,de-trashing, all material movements, supermarket sizing andreplenishment, and order picking for intra-plant deliveries. Success inthis role is defined by driving significant continuous improvement inmaterial handling, inventory accuracy, cycle counting and timelytransactional reporting. This will be measured by ongoing improvementsin delivery performance (internal and external), cycle count progress,cycle count accuracy, uninterrupted material movement for productionlines and efficient use of labor resources. 2nd Shift Differential!\$2.50/hr when in the building working Essential Duties andResponsibilities: Ensure timely material flow within the facility aswell as timely delivery in receiving material from other locations aswell as preparation for shipment of parts to other facilities. Developand implement standard process and strategies that enable productionefficiency improvements. Lead, Supervise, and direct materials staffdevelopment through education, training, coaching, mentoring andcertification in the execution of improvement priorities and theachievement of key performance indicators. Manage and optimize dailywarehousing operations including staging, cycle count, and storage ofmaterials Oversee inventory management and control, accuracy, andestablished inventory guidelines and procedures. Ensure efficient andaccurate materials presentation to support production operations.Partner with Quality, Purchasing and Production to develop effective andefficient solutions to customer quality and delivery issues and toachieve objectives and KPIs. Ensure high level of communication betweenplanning, purchasing and production to ensure a high degree of customersatisfaction Lead and improve Material/Inventory Management bestpractices including Warehouse Management (Cycle Count Accuracy,Transactions, Bar Coding, RFID) and Fill Rate.
