FTE: 0.600000 Shift: Shift 1 Clinic hours are Monday-Friday7:30am-5pm Job Summary: Accountable for the management and continuity ofcare of patients with wound, ostomy and/or continence needs both withinthe inpatient and outpatient environments. Provides direct patient careand education by serving in the role as clinician, consultant, educatorand researcher in a level one trauma institution. Works in collaborationwith the RN Program Coordinator and Clinical Nurse Specialist tocoordinate and improve the WOC care within the Froedtert & The MedicalCollege of Wisconsin including development of policies and procedures,guidelines, standards of care and research. Other duties as assigned.EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION: Recent and substantial experience as an expertclinician and educator is required. Experience as a Certified WoundOstomy Nurse (CWON) is preferred. EDUCATION DESCRIPTION: Bachelor\'sDegree in Nursing is required. Master\'s Degree preferred. LICENSUREDESCRIPTION: Current state of Wisconsin Registered Nurse License or aMulti-state Nursing License from a participating state in the NLC (NurseLicensure Compact) is required. Certified Wound Ostomy Continence Nurseor Certified Wound Ostomy Nurse certification is required within 12months of hire or transfer into the position. American Heart Association(AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) is requiredwithin 90 days of hire. Certified Wound Ostomy Continence Nurse ispreferred.
