Master Data Specialist -GMP OperationsCategory:Life ScienceEmployment Type:ContractReference:BH-368506-1Master Data Specialist - GMP OperationsBMS ID # 56301-1Bothell, WA- ON SITE12 month W2 contract (with potential to extend or transition to perm)Pay rate: $75-80/hour - Depending on Education and ExperienceSummary:The Specialist, Master Data Lead is responsible for the coordination and execution of Quality support of ERP and associated boundary systems in order to maintain a compliant, effective, and efficient operation that meets or exceeds site goals and objectives.TOP SKILLS:2 years relevant work experience required, preferably in a pharmaceutical or regulated manufacturing environment.SAP Experience Highly Preferred*High Level of attention to detail.IT BackgroundResponsibilities:Assist in designing, testing, and maintaining the ERP and related manufacturing data, including, but not limited to, items, specifications, lookups, list of values, recipes, routings, formulas, process instructions, and process variables.Collaborate with manufacturing, quality control, quality assurance, IT, global master data management, and supply chain organization to determine business requirements for the design of master data.Translate business requirements into a robust data design which is compliant, efficient, and effective.Maintain the recipe release process to meet manufacturing requirements and to maintain compliant efficient, and reliable batch records and supporting dataAssist with the testing of master data with peers and internal customers to ensure business requirements are achieved.Review cGMP change controls related to master data changes.Coordination of changes with global master data.Collaborate with other stakeholders (global and site) to maintain and optimize product hierarchy while maintaining compliance and minimizing risk.Provide direct internal customer support to manufacturing, site planning, inventory control, quality assurance, quality control, global master data management, and IT.Develop and provide technical training to ERP users, as required.Maintain an understanding of the manufacturing processes and ERP and other associated IT systems.Provide periodic on-call support to internal customers for emergent system issues.Troubleshoot routine and complex problems to support internal customers.Perform other tasks as assigned.Skills or Requirements:2 years relevant work experience required, preferably in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft ExcelBasic knowledge of cGMP regulationsBasic written and verbal communication skillsBasic presentation development and delivery skillsBasic proficiency in Microsoft Word and OutlookERP proficiency highly desirableExperience with master data management highly desirableAbility to provide on-call support in case of emergency situationsAbility to work as member of a team.Education/Experience:Bachelor's degree preferred.An equivalent combination of education, experience and training may substitute.What's In It For You?We welcome you to be a part of one of the largest global staffing companies to meet your career aspirations.
