Each day you will prepare, load, deliver, and install several deliveries to our clients. You must also possess a genuine desire to provide outstanding service by taking the best possible care of the plants you are delivering and installing to the customer's site.There are three main components to this position; (1) Plantscape and hygiene services installations; (2) Plantscape replacement deliveries; and (3) Holiday installation.Plantscape and Hygiene Service installationOccasional warehouse tasks including plant receiving and preparation which includes protecting plants and containers for deliveryLoad service vehicle and exercise care in delivering plants and hardgoods to customer sitesInstall plants and hardgoods in accordance with job specifications and company policyMonitor orders and confirm details on a constant basis to ensure customer selections are processed correctlySchedule delivery details/arrangements as required by the clientRegular driving of a delivery type van/truck in urban and rural settings spending up to 50% of your shift drivingSafely loading and unloading the material and equipmentSafely hanging and mounting wall installations with your teammatesRegular maintenance to plants and hardware components of living green walls at various heightsPlanting containers, vases, and planter beds with a wide variety of plantsRegular work on ladders up to 12 ftRegular lifting up to 50 lbsPrevent damage to surrounding floors, walls, carpet, furniture, etc. during installation serviceDeliver and install scenting and air purification equipment as necessaryAddress all client concerns and communicate with customer contact at each serviceComplete a service report to accurately document service tasksBe available for occasional 'after-hour' project work (for example early access to some customer sites like shopping malls for large tree delivery or replacement)Some outdoor/exterior work will be requiredPlantscape Replacement DeliveriesDeliver replacement materials to customer sites as requiredRemove plant and container materials from customer sitesDispose of materials as specified by company policyHoliday installation / removalAssist on holiday decoration installations decorating the interior and exterior of buildings with a teamAssist on the removal of holiday decorations as needed at the end of the seasonBe available for 'after-hour' work due to a short window of opportunity for this seasonal activityWhat do you need?Experience caring for plants is preferredExperience interacting with clientsAble to safely climb ladders and work on laddersLift certification is a plusExperience using pruners, scissors, and other sharp objectsExperience using drills, saws, and other power toolsMust pass pre-employment background screenMust possess a valid driver's license and pass a motor vehicle record searchBase pay range: $17.50 - $21.63 / hourWhy Choose Rentokil ?A career with Rentokil can be a professional trajectory filled with opportunity.
