　　The UniFirst Marketing & Communications Intern is a self-starter who assists marketing content efforts. This internship is an excellent opportunity to experience various aspects of marketing while working for a well-known national corporation. The Marketing & Communications Intern is an undergraduate student in sales, marketing, public relations, communications, or digital communication. Ideal candidates will be detail-oriented, organized, creative, possess a professional work ethic, and be enthusiastic to learn.

　　Responsibilities

　　Support the marketing team in all areas of marketing, including digital and traditional content creation for external and internal audiences.

　　Assist team members with researching, writing, and editing uniform and facility service product descriptions for brochures and catalogs (print and digital)

　　Assist with content creation for social media platforms (Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter) and company website (Blogs, NASCAR sponsorship page)

　　Assist with writing, proofing, and editing traditional media, including press releases, brochures, sales sheets, catalogs, and other marketing collateral

　　Develop media lists using Cision media database.

　　Monitor media for UniFirst mentions.

　　Monitor UniFirst’s social media platforms and create engagement by liking and sharing appropriate and relevant content.

　　Perform competitive research into our clients’ industries and provide actionable tips and advice for expanding reach in the digital space.

　　Assist with capturing and analyzing social media metrics.

　　Qualifications

　　Requirements:

　　Undergraduate student majoring in sales, marketing, public relations, digital communication, or communications

　　Excellent verbal and written communication skills

　　Extensive knowledge of social media with a focus on Facebook for business

　　Driven and hard working

　　Ability to take direction and multi-task

　　PowerPoint, Word, Adobe, Excel, Microsoft Teams experience a plus
