The OpportunityThe Market Director, reporting directly to the GM/VP of Renewablesbusiness unit, is both a strategic business management and strategicbusiness development leader. The Market Director is a key member of UlteigLeadership Team who develops Ulteig's renewables strategic plans,initiatives and associated implementation plans. The Market Director ensuresthat Ulteig is well-positioned with clients and within the Renewables LifelineSector (LLS). This position a the face of Ulteig and is a thought leaderin the Renewables industry. This position leads the Market Development effortsfocusing both on new and current clients. The Market Director demonstratessignificant renewables market, business, sales/consulting acumen andexperienceWhat You will DoWith support of their team of Market Leaders - presents, promotes and sellsservices and solutions related in the Renewables industry to existing andperspective clientsConducts analysis and assesses market potential - develop and execute LifelineSector plans that account for external (industry, competitive, client)dynamics and identifies the internal support (service, marketing, marketcommunication, advertising, trade shows, SOQs, collateral,pricing, etc.) needed to deliver goalsCollaborates with GM/VP on LLS strategyDevelops and executes annual Territory Sales PlanCoaches, develops and provides direction to team members who havepipeline, client management and relationship accountabilities forprospective and current clients (direct reports and seller/doers)Coordinates with fellow leaders inside the renewables business unit, andthose in shared services, to execute on market strategy and operatingbusiness planLeads with influence across the organization (Engineering/Operations,Strategic Growth & Marketing, Proposals, Project Management,Finance, HR, Legal) to pursue, propose and win businessPartners with Marketing and Communications to ensure supporting marketing andcommunication content and channels are fully utilizedProtects and enhances Ulteig's resume, reputation and relationships(client and industry)Serves as the Client Lead for select, significant clientsEstablishes, achieves/exceeds sales targets and primary businessdevelopment metrics: pipeline, orders, loyalty (Net Promoter Score)and business development budgetCommercial negotiation of Master Service AgreementsStays informed of industry trends and best practicesWhat We Expect from You:Bachelor's degree in business or engineering; Master's degree preferredMinimum of 9 years of experience required in business development and clientmanagement; 15 years preferredDemonstrated business development results and successDirect experience within the utility-scale Renewable (wind, solar,storage) market preferredStrong business management, consulting and business development acumenHighly motivated and target drivenDemonstrates ability to influence and collaborate with individuals at alllevels in the organizationAbility to travel (typically 5 to 7 nights/monthly)Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to establish and maintaineffective working relationships with current and potential clients andinternal colleaguesPossesses well-rounded knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices andprocedures of associated industryDemonstrates excellent facilitation presentation, verbal/writtencommunications, time-management, interpersonal and organizational skillsDemonstrates the ability to be organized, work on multiple projects and meetdeadlines by setting priorities with work projectsMust have authorization to work permanently in the U.S
