　　Overview

　　Perform any reasonable duties requested by management, plus the following specific duties. Regular Attendance and Punctuality are essential functions of the job.

　　Qualifications

　　• High School Diploma or equivalency. • Tool and Die Shop apprenticeship or equivalent work experience. • Knowledge of metrics, trigonometry and geometry. • Good mechanical ability. • Ability to interact with other departments on a design level. • Computer literacy a must, with 3-5 years CAD experience and ability to use CAD system to perform design and design revision. Must have knowledge of work processing and business system. • Ability to perform all job functions of Tool Designer . • Safety and quality conscious.

　　Responsibilities

　　• Layout and design dies, molds and other production tooling keeping costs in line with requirements. • Edit, modify and maintain existing CAD data for drawings related to production tooling and machinery. • Work with Tool Designer on assigned projects. • Work from prints, sketches and verbal instructions to create CAD drawings. • Keep current with technological changes in Mechanical CAD software and its capabilities, as well as trends in the Tooling and Machining industry.
