What’s a typical day as a Manufacturing Technician? You’ll be:
• Executing and mastering production activities in four or more functional areas of parenteral manufacturing and packaging.
• Assisting maintenance technicians or performing preventive and corrective maintenance tasks.
• Conducting basic troubleshooting or assisting maintenance technicians in troubleshooting equipment in your functional area.
• Recording operations of assigned equipment and systems in your functional area.
• Documenting, reviewing, and verifying equipment calibrations prior to use.
• Ensuring all components used are approved and comply with specifications.
• Weighing raw materials and excipients, ensuring they meet the required specifications before starting the weighing or manufacturing process.
• Executing manufacturing and packaging activities following instructions and documenting them in the corresponding manual or electronic records.
• Performing and documenting the final inventory of used and rejected materials in the corresponding system.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
• Have an Associate's Degree in Industrial Mechanics, Electricity, Instrumentation, Electronics or Bachelor's Degree in Science, Engineering or Administration.
• Have 4-6 years of experience in the parenteral pharmaceutical industry or 2 years of experience as a Manufacturing Technician II.
• Possess strong technical skills and the ability to operate machinery.
• Have knowledge of maintenance tasks and basic troubleshooting.
• Are detail-oriented and able to accurately document operations and calibrations.
• Have a strong commitment to safety and quality standards.
Basic Computer Skills
Availability to work any shift (1st, 2nd, 3rd) overtime and weekends (if necessary)
Able to work in a clean/sterile room environment.
