  We are currently seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant who can become an integral member of our accounting and finance team.

  Under the general direction of the assigned manager, the incumbent will provide assistance to various department heads.

  ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  Plans, prioritizes, and schedules meetings and appointments for executives and other management. Makes decisions on a daily basis regarding calendars and relevance to overall business success.

  Responds to and initiates inquiries regarding purchasing, personnel management, facilities, administration, specialized programs, etc. Explains policies, answer questions, and independently resolve problems whenever feasible.

  Performs specialized administrative duties required to support the specific program area, using discretion to make judgments based on operating guidelines.

  Answers and redirect phone calls as needed.

  Accurately files and stores documentation.

  Ensures and/or facilitates the timely distribution of information via e-mail, telephone and mail.

  Composes reports and correspondence containing decisions of the designated manager.

  Other duties as assigned by manager(s).

  EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED:

  High school diploma or equivalent

  2 – 4 years of experience in the field or related area

  Ability to work a fast-paced environment

  Ability to multitask and work on multiple projects simultaneously without losing focus

  Equipment & Lifting

  This position requires the use of standard office equipment.Additional information
