Manufacturing Technician, 1st shift

Location: Wayne, PA

Onsite Monday - Friday ( 2 shifts: 6am-2:30pm or 8am-4:30pm shift)

As a Manufacturing Technician at our Brand New DSM Biomedical location in Wayne, PA , a subsidiary of dsm-firmenich, you will maintain an organized workflow and ensure appropriate system transactions are performed in a timely and accurate manner assuring DSM products are of consistent and high quality. The ideal candidate will have manufacturing experience within a medical device or pharmaceutical environment.

Responsibilities:

Assist with performing designated operations within the manufacturing department

Work within job/position specific deadlines and schedules set by production schedule/supervisor

Handling of chemicals and solvents required

Provide basic support to outside own department as needed

Assure product quality through close attention to detail, inspection methods, and in-process testing as required.

Ability to periodically work weekends/off-shift hours

You bring:

High school diploma or equivalent required/ Two-year technical degree preferred

3+ years’ experience, preferably in Medical Device manufacturing or GMP related industry. Experience in medical materials/chemical manufacturing strongly preferred.

Strong oral and written communication skills

Proficient in the use of MSOffice, Word, and Excel

Knowledge and experience working with machinery, tooling, and products/processes in a medical device environment preferred

Industrial scale hands-on experience with process optimization focus
