POSITION DESCRIPTION
St. Augustine Preparatory Academy is seeking a candidate to fill a full-time Development Operations Specialist role. The successful candidate will shine the light of Jesus in every interaction they have. This candidate should have attention to detail and the ability to problem-solve for our Development team. The Development Operations Specialist will work with the Augustine Prep team to track donations in our database, pull reports and prepare reports, support events, and the day-to-day operations of the development team.
Reporting Structure: The Development Operations Specialist will report to the Director of Development and will work closely with the Donor Relations and Events Coordinator.
Job Responsibilities & Roles:
Assists the development team with all aspects of donor records management in the donor management database of individual, foundation, and corporate donors to ensure accurate data and records
Maintains and updates constituent records and manages donor lists to support the team's fundraising efforts
Process donations and ensure thank you letters, new donor packets, and mailings are out in a timely manner
With direction from the team, develops administrative briefs for prospective donors
Coordinates team purchasing, such as giveaways and supplies
Supports communication and fundraising functions, including events
Assists production and distribution of mailings and reports
Maintains and helps improve processes and procedures to ensure the team is working efficiently and effectively
Provides monthly/weekly/daily reports as assigned.
Coordinates meetings and the details associated with each meeting (agenda, reservations, materials, etc.).
Works closely with our Donor Relations and Event Coordinator to support event needs (i.e. tracking, ordering, and organization)
Track event and development budget
Qualifications:
A belief in the ability of every child and a commitment to ensure excellence for each student
Participating member in a local church.
Strong attention to detail, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Ability to synthesize data and pull together accurate reports
Experience and knowledge of database management and Excel is preferred
Demonstrate ability to handle multiple projects, produce high-quality results in a timely manner, and work collaboratively and independently.
Interact effectively with a wide variety of people
Ability to work within a fast-paced environment and with minimal supervision
A team player committed to the St. Augustine Prep mission and model
Lastly and most importantly, the candidate must demonstrate and possess the highest integrity and be able to live the values, beliefs, and culture of St. Augustine Prep
Holds a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university is preferred but not required
