As a manufacturing equipment technician, you will maintain, repair, and troubleshoot equipment in the Etch area. The equipment you support is critical for 24x7 manufacturing of semiconductor wafers used in automotive and consumer applications throughout the world. In this team based environment, you will work closely with Process Engineers and Manufacturing to provide high quality products to our customers. This position will involve working in a cleanroom environment with 200mm semiconductor manufacturing equipment, including plasma etch, wet etch, inspection microscopes, wafer handling robotics, and wafer metrology systems.

　　Shift: 4 days on/4 days off – 8:30pm-8:30am

　　Responsibilities:

　　Provide technical and hands-on service of semiconductor manufacturing equipment.

　　Perform electrical, mechanical and software troubleshooting to determine problems in non-functioning equipment

　　Respond to equipment alarms, failure, and process measurement violations.

　　Perform preventive maintenance for Etch equipment

　　Document proper maintenance procedures.

　　Provide detailed pass downs to the team regarding daily issues and activities.

　　Establish and execute plans to improve quality of wafers processed through the area.

　　Identify opportunities to improve availability to manufacturing.

　　Commit to creating and maintaining a safe work environment.

　　Complete basic preventive maintenance and troubleshooting on all Etch equipment, with a mindset to continuously improve equipment availability.

　　Perform required preventive maintenance and repair procedures in an independent and efficient manner.

　　Demonstrate strong mechanical and electrical aptitude, and show initiative to support multiple tool platforms in the Etch area.

　　Pass all safety certifications required for the job.
