Manufacturing Engineering Technician, 1st shift

As a Manufacturing Engineering Technician, you will assist the Manufacturing Engineering Group in the development of new and/or improved fixtures, tooling, and equipment. You will also perform testing, execute qualifications, develop supporting documentation such as tool drawings, maintenance procedures, and Operational Qualifications.

Responsibilities:
Assist in the design and development of manufacturing fixtures, tooling, and equipment
Assemble, test, and debug new and/or improved manufacturing fixtures, tooling, and equipment.
Assist in producing working sketches/drawings of manufacturing fixtures, tooling, and equipment
Develop and update operating, test, and maintenance procedures as necessary.
Assist in performing engineering tests to evaluate products, processes, and equipment.

You bring:
High School graduate. Two-year technical degree preferred
1+ year of industry experience, preferably in Medical Device manufacturing or related industry
Strong oral and written communication skills to provide information to others by telephone, in written form, e-mail, or in person and ability to participate in multifunctional teams
Strong mechanical aptitude preferred
Proficient in the use of MS Office, Word and Excel and basic knowledge of Drafting standards, and use of drafting software preferred (Pro Engineer or AutoCAD)
