　　About the Job:

　　An exciting opportunity has arisen for Commis 2 - F&B Culinary in Jumeirah Al Naseem. The main duties and responsibilities of this role are:

　　Gathers, measures, mixes, and prepares meal ingredients, sauces, and seasoning. Wash, peel, and chop vegetables, fruits, and meat etc. as applicable.

　　Prepare basic dishes such as salads and sauces. Follow established recipe and plating guide provided, to exact specification.

　　Ensure that the food items are stocked properly in refrigerators and freezers.

　　Set-up the station with par stocks of menu items and carry out all food preparation tasks given by the Commis 1 | Demi Chef | Chef De Partie designated for that station.

　　Effectively able to maintain high levels of kitchen assistance service at all times. Keep a track of the inventory supplies.

　　Follow daily ingredient collection, storage of all items used within the respective kitchen and ensure all areas of section are maintained and cleaned following established standards.

　　Work to the specifications received by the respective culinary team regarding portion size, quantity and quality as laid down in the recipe index.

　　Attend daily meetings with the Demi Chef | Chef De Partie and other meetings as requested by the Executive chef/Executive sous chef.

　　Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others; support team to reach common goals.

　　Ensure adherence to departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures, and instructions enabling delivery of luxuriousservice to guests and in line with Jumeirah standard of excellence.

　　About You:

　　The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

　　Completed kitchen apprentice or chefs training courses for at least one year.

　　1-2 year of experience in a range of kitchen areas; ideally within the luxury hospitality industry

　　Demonstrate passion for quality and cooking.

　　Fluent in English.
