PURPOSE OF POSITION
Identify, develop, and execute improvement strategies for materials, products and manufacturing for nuclear fuel zirconium related products and fuel business.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES (List in order of importance) *Essential FunctionsImplement standards contained in Westinghouse "Codes of Business Ethics & Conduct." Ensure that all employees reporting to this position are informed about the standards and related policies and enforce them within this supervised activity.
Support Nuclear Fuel Engineering (NFE) development and execution of zirconium products and manufacturing strategies.Build and share comprehensive knowledge of zirconium fuel-related products and services.Support NFE activities and report progress associated with process optimization and improvement initiatives.Support customer and international licensee partner activities and business development for various Fuel technology, products, and customer offers.Coordinate with Fuel stakeholder organizations (such as SIOP, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Fuel Delivery & Contract Management, Product Management, and Engineering) to successfully plan and execute new product rollouts to customers.Lead and support business cases development for cost savings, process improvement and product development initiatives related to zirconium products and manufacturing.Facilitate interactions across the broader organization to drive development of innovative solutions to create product and customer value.Support and lead major multi-business unit proposal preparations & LOAs by establishing and obtaining approval of GOS costs, capability, capacity, and risk management.Develop and maintain critical working relationships across Westinghouse organizations (GOS, D&I, BU, Engineering, Manufacturing, etc.)

Broad knowledge of engineering principles, application to related systems / components / equipment, and techniques and applications in field of specialization.
b. Identify specialized education and/or experience requirements.
Bachelor's degree in materials or engineering/related technical discipline or equivalent. Knowledge of NSSS systems, fuel manufacturing, nuclear fuel value chain, business unit products, services, commercial operations, financial planning, and strategic objectives.
