Now, 7-Eleven is on a mission to contemporize the brand and redefine convenience – and we need your help. ▶ About This Opportunity Responsibilities Prepare account reconciliations for assigned accounts and follow up promptly on reconciling items. Prepare wire requests for assigned payroll services and monitor payroll clearing accounts. Reconciliation of outstanding items correct in a timely manner. Run payroll costing jobs according to schedule, meeting required deadlines. This function has a critical deadline as it is part of the multiple step process of running a payroll and can require work after hours on occasion. Responsible for the payment and reconciliation around critical payroll processes such as profit-sharing, garnishments and life insurance. Ownership of each departments process for outstanding payroll checks. Procure paperwork documentation for audit compliance for external and internal auditors. AdHoc queries for planning and other departments for labor expense detail. Calculate exchange rates for Canadian transactions. Qualifications Education: Bachelor / 4 year Degree CPA a plus Experience: 2+ years of General accounting and knowledge of payroll processes. Payroll experience is required. Computer skills necessary to understand and use the payroll system. High volume and multi-state payroll experience. Proficient with Microsoft Office products, such as Word, Excel, as well as Outlook for managing email. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required. High volume payroll experience is essential for the fast-paced environment. General payroll accounting #LI-KA1
