100% ON SITE role in Hobbs, NM. We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Insurance Sales Representative based in Hobbs, New Mexico. The role operates in the insurance industry and involves a focus on customer interaction, sales, and data entry. The successful candidate will work on-site and will be provided with necessary equipment.
Responsibilities:
• Engage with clients and generate new business opportunities
• Handle renewals and maintain a strong relationship with existing customers
• Utilize sales experience to drive business growth
• Leverage Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word for data entry and client correspondence
• Manage inbound and outbound calls to provide excellent customer service
• Process customer applications with attention to detail and accuracy
• Schedule appointments effectively to ensure efficient operations
• Provide prompt responses to email correspondence
• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary
• Utilize commercial insurance experience where applicable to improve sales results.
Requirements • Proficient in answering inbound calls and managing inbound/outbound calls
• Experience in a call center customer service environment
• Strong customer service skills
• Ability to perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently
• Capable of handling email correspondence professionally
• Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
• Experience in order entry processes
• Ability to schedule appointments effectively
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
• High school diploma or equivalent; higher education or certifications a plus
• Experience in insurance sales or related fields preferred
• Proven track record in sales or customer service roles
• Knowledge of insurance products, industry trends, and regulatory requirements
• Strong problem-solving abilities and customer focus
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
