The Role:
Develop Manufacturing Processes, including specification and purchasing of machinery, tooling and fixturing. Lead process improvement strategies; cycletime reductions and cost reductions.
Work Location: On-site in our Maiden, NC location
What will you do?
Improve safety and ergonomics of the operation
Improve cost of manufacturing methods (labor, quality, cycle time).
Create process plans for new projects.
Provide quotations for new projects and tooling.
Create and own APQP Documentation (Process Flow, PFMEA, & Control Plan)
Provide technical guidance to cross functional team.
Design and validate equipment, tooling, fixturing, and methods.
Validate for manufacturability any changes in supplied parts or designs with calculations and testing
Lead process improvement teams.
What are we looking for?
Education: Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) from an accredited university required
Experience: Excellent computer skills with working knowledge of Creo
Prefer candidates with internship experience (preferably TS 16949 certified company
